What does your gal room look like?
Every gal deserves a room that feels like their own world! From closets that took years to build to stacks of lashes that have been mixed and matched in every possible way, a gal room is more than a room, it’s a reflection of the type of gal you are!
We asked a few gals to show us their room and tell us how their space represents them!

🌺 How does your room reflect your personality/self and your hobbies?
My room is home to everything I adore! I have to create a space to express every one of my hobbies.
The most obvious of my hobbies in my room is my large dollhouse which I customize and redecorate from time to time. Other hobbies you can catch a glimpse of! Such as my drawers full of nail products and charms, my large collection of makeup products, my gal fashion collection bursting at the seams in my closet, and my condenser microphone and interface hooked up to my computer for when I want to make some music. The walls are covered in visual signifiers of my personal interests as well!

🌺 What kind of vibe/atmosphere did you want to create in your room?
I wanted to really create an almost whimsical/fantastical space of something that housed all of my inspirations so that I am continually inspired. And I also wanted a safe space for my inner child feeling a bit lost in my early-mid 20s, reverting back to the all pink styled room I had in elementary school. I wanted to evoke more playful creativity from myself!

🌺 Are there any pieces in your room that are your pride and joy?
Firstly would probably be my dollhouse as it is truly a dream of my inner child and younger self that once felt unattainable. So I am grateful that I have been able to bring it to reality over time! Secondly probably my gal magazine collection, as I am working on collecting all of the Soul Sister mags and have gathered a number of them so far!

🌺 What advice would you give to someone starting out to deco?
Your room in some ways is the only space that is completely yours, so it should reflect you and embody an environment that makes you feel good. You can always change it up with time, so have fun with it!
